Cooper Reilly is a short fiction writer from San Diego, California. His writing is often described as equal parts absurd, bizarre, darkly funny, deeply psychological, and emotionally devastating.
Reilly is fascinated by magical realism, frogs, tragically flawed characters, socialism, redwood trees, altered states, Ween, finding transcendence in the mundane, absurd humor, public transportation, the color green, rainstorms, gross stuff, maximalism, dreams, brown hats, and speculating on the afterlife.
In his free time, Reilly is also currently working on two full-length novels. Additionally, he is the front-man for a psychedelic/art-rock band called Frog God, in which he is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter.
